Delivering Oversized Cargo to Ukraine

THE STORY

The Logistics Plus Canada and Ukraine teams worked together to move a shipment of oversized cargo from the Port of Montreal to the Port of Gdynia in Poland and then to its final destination in Ukraine.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

• The Logistics Plus (LP) Canada and Ukraine teams worked closely to ensure the cargo’s safe and timely delivery to the job site.
• To optimize shipping, the cargo was disassembled to remove unnecessary parts from protruding beyond the dimensions of a standard 40-foot container.
• The cargo was trucked from Edmonton to Montreal, loaded onto the vessel at the port, and then shipped by ocean to the Port of Gdynia.
• At the Port of Gdynia in Poland, the cargo was transferred to the Logistics Plus warehouse and delivered by truck to its final destination in Ukraine.
• Despite challenges, including a border blockage, the cargo arrived on time and in perfect condition.
