Exporting Electrical Equipment to Ukraine

THE STORY

When an electrical equipment manufacturer needed to ship its first-ever export to Ukraine, they called Logistics Plus (LP). The LP Ukraine team worked closely with the client to organize and execute the shipment from the manufacturer’s warehouse in Houston, USA, to its final destination in Poltava, Ukraine.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

• Logistics Plus (LP) Ukraine worked closely with the exporter’s agent to create a specialized packaging plan to ensure the equipment would be transported safely and moisture-free.
• The LP Ukraine team had a representative visit the site several times to provide advice on packaging and load optimization.
• After inspection and packaging, the cargo was delivered to the agent’s warehouse for loading onto a twenty-foot container.
• The cargo was trucked to the Port of Houston, where it was loaded onto a vessel for its voyage across the ocean to Poland.
• When the shipment arrived at the Port of Gdynia in Poland, LP Ukraine loaded it onto a truck and safely delivered it to its final destination in Poltava, Ukraine.
