THE STORY

When a leading boat manufacturer in Thailand needed to safely extract, transport, and launch a large custom yacht from its inland production facility to a nearby river, they turned to Logistics Plus Thailand Yacht Transport Specialists.

 With just 10 kilometers to cover—but countless complexities to overcome—the project required three weeks of intensive planning and flawless execution over a two-day operation window. From dual-crane lifts to nighttime hydraulic trailer transport, the LP Thailand team proved once again that execution is only as strong as the preparation behind it.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

• 3 Weeks of Preparation: Technical teams conducted extensive route surveys and rigging assessments to plan for a seamless inland transit and on-site crane operations.
• 2-Day On-Site Execution: Operations began with a dual-crane lift to extract the yacht from the factory. At 1:00 AM, a 13-axle hydraulic trailer transported the yacht 10 km to the launch site—strategically timed to avoid traffic and minimize public disruption.
• Controlled Quay-Side Launch: Two 100-ton cranes were used to carefully lower the yacht into the river. The team reinforced the quay with steel plates to disperse ground pressure and ensure a safe, stable lift.
• Flawless Finish: The entire project—from factory to floating—was executed without incident. Thanks to expert rigging, coordinated teamwork, and pre-planning, the yacht was successfully launched and delivered on schedule.
