Supporting a Covid Test Kit Project

THE STORY

When a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer secured a massive contract to supply Covid test kits globally, they called Logistics Plus to help them warehouse, transport, and deliver millions of shipments across the United States and around the world.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

• A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer contacted LP with the challenge of rapidly importing, warehousing, and distributing a massive order of COVID test kits for the Biden Administration.
• TSA-certified drivers picked up the first cargo shipment planeside and then transported the pallets to Logistics Plus warehouses.
• Once the pallets were unloaded, LP broke them down and sorted each carton by SKU and lot number before being scanned into its warehouse management system (WMS).
• The cartons were grouped, palletized, and shrink-warapped onto standard pallets in preparation for outbound distribution.
• Logistics Plus has successfully transported over 100 million Covid test kits to dozens of retail and government clients across the United States.
• Today, Logistics Plus continues to warehouse and distribute medical products for this client.
