We are proud to have Heena Merha on the Logistics Plus team. She recently relocated to Erie, PA, from Southern CA, where she studied international business and marketing, and acquired supply chain experience working on the shipper side of logistics. Heena will be working to further develop business in our U.S./India trade lane – a lane that is particularly strong for us. On the U.S. side, we have over a dozen strategically located offices in major cities; and India, we have a growing network of over 14 offices with more than 18 years of experience in the Indian market. We already work with some prominent companies located in India and, as noted above, we’ve handled some very complex logistics projects in India. With our enriched global network we stand committed to the growth and success of our customers and partners.

Logistics Plus Inc. continues to expand its worldwide presence with new offices located in India. Besides having our own offices in New Delhi, Bangalore, and Chennai, we continue to expand our service and coverage by opening new partner/franchisee offices in smaller cities around the country.
As reported by Sundreysh Sarup, managing director for Logistics Plus in New Delhi, India, our first success has been achieved by opening an office in the city of Ludhiana (Sundreysh is shown above cutting the ceremonial ribbon on Wednesday). Our new partner is M/S PN Logistics. Being led by Mr. Narinder Dogra, he and his team are spreading the Logistics Plus® brand deeper into the country. They are assisted by the Logistics Plus regional team stationed at New Delhi, and jointly we are collaborating on new business opportunities.

Recently, Manish Khanduja who works in our New Delhi, India office handled this shipment of a windmill nacelle and hub. The nacelle’s weight is 75 metric tons each and the hub weight is 26 metric tons each. These we moved via truck from Himachal Pradesh, India to Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India, which is a distance of approximately 1200 kilometers.

LP Erie has just completed loading of a large break bulk ocean shipment in Port Newark, NJ. Pictured are the largest two units: 305,000# and 142,000#. Also shipped were eight other large pieces, plus three containers. Total weight, a little less than a million pounds!
Matt Bosko was responsible for coordinating everything among the customer, port authority, trucking companies, export packers, steamship captain, stevedores, terminal operators and surveyors. Nice job, Matt!
Next stop: Antwerp, where Ivo and his team will assist during the transloading onto a vessel bound for Kolkata, India. There, LP India will take over and deliver the cargo to the jobsite in Paradip.
