THE STORY

When a major industrial customer needed to relocate a Liebherr LR-11350 crawler crane from Poland to France, they turned to Logistics Plus Poland for expert project logistics support.

The move involved transporting multiple oversized crane components across Europe, including units weighing more than 72 metric tons. Complicating matters, the operation took place during one of the coldest winters Poland has seen in decades, with overnight temperatures dropping to –25°C.

Despite the extreme conditions—which disrupted hydraulic systems on auxiliary cranes used during loading—the Logistics Plus team adapted quickly, relying on careful planning, specialized equipment, and precise coordination to complete the move safely and on schedule.
