Leading Supply Chain and Logistics Publication Names Logistics Plus a Top Supply Chain Partner for Second Time
Recognition based on an online poll sent to supply chain professionals.
ERIE, PA (August 4, 2020) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions, is proud to announce it has been named a Great Supply Chain Partner by SupplyChainBrain. The 2020 recognition is based on an online poll sent to supply chain professionals. It is the second time that Logistics Plus has been honored as a SupplyChainBrain top 100 supply chain partner.
“For 18 years running, SupplyChainBrain has published our much-anticipated list of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners — a select group of companies whose customers recognize them for providing outstanding solutions and services,” said SupplyChainBrain Publisher Brad Berger. “Our six-month online poll of supply chain professionals requires specific criteria to nominate vendors and service providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency, customer service, and overall supply chain performance. This year’s field of nominees was competitive and inspiring – coming from all sectors of supply chain management. Congratulations to Logistics Plus for making our list.”
Logistics Plus will appear in the 2020 August issue of SupplyChainBrain magazine and on SupplyChainBrain.com as an honored member of this year’s 100 Great Supply Chain Partners. The full online list can be viewed at

“We are honored and humbled to once again be named as a great supply chain partner,” said Jim Berlin, founder and CEO of Logistics Plus. “What is most gratifying about this recognition is that it comes directly from our customers who graciously nominated us for the recognition as part of the polling process. It’s a great acknowledgment of our passion for excellence and our goal of being a valued partner for all our customers.”

Logistics Plus Receives 2020 Supply & Demand Chain Executive
SDCE 100 Top Supply Chain Projects Award
It’s the second consecutive year; and fourth time in the past five years that Logistics Plus has been recognized.
ERIE, PA (June 17, 2020) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions, is proud to announce it has been selected by Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the executive’s user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, as a recipient of a 2020 “SDCE 100” Top Supply Chain Projects Award. This is the second consecutive year and the fourth time in the past five years that Logistics Plus has been honored with the award.
The 2020 SDCE 100 spotlights successful and innovative projects that deliver bottom-line value to small, medium, and large enterprises across the range of supply chain functions. These projects can serve as a map for supply chain executives looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations. These projects also show how supply chain solution and service providers help their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence and prepare their supply chains for success.
The supply chain project submitted by Logistics Plus that earned this year’s recognition was an innovative solution taking existing processes and information flows and aggregating them together for a client that was looking for a simpler, more efficient, and faster fulfillment solution. The client sells private-label furniture items that include a 7-year warranty. The manufacturers for these warranty replacements are primarily located in Asia, but the client’s customers are primarily located in North America. To optimize the warranty process, Logistics Plus provided warehousing and fulfillment services under a single agreement while also acting as the importer of record (IOR). As a result, Logistics Plus was able to go from initial bidding to live operations to support a critical after-market function for the client.
“Innovation is essential in driving the supply chain industry forward, and thanks to these valuable partnerships, companies of all sizes are able to achieve success in projects that matter,” says Marina Mayer, editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “From business intelligence systems and supply and demand planning to inventory reduction and procurement solutions, the SDCE 100 offers proof-of-concept that with the right planning and execution, anything is possible.”
“A big selling point for us is our ability to create unique, out of the box solutions in a moment’s notice,” said Jim Berlin, founder and CEO of Logistics Plus. “I am very proud of our award-winning solutions team. Thank you to Supply & Demand Chain Executive for recognizing us, once again, with one of their top supply chain awards.”

Majority of employees see professional growth and career opportunities.
ERIE, PA (May 6, 2020) – Logistics Plus Inc. (LP), a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics and supply chain solutions, is proud to announce that it has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2020. In anonymous surveys, employee engagement was over 96%, and “challenging” was cited as the top word to describe the company’s work environment. 82% of men and 85% of women in the company see professional and career development opportunities for themselves.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has made this an incredibly challenging year,” said Jim Berlin, founder and CEO of Logistics Plus. “The world has changed and is changing before our eyes, but LP has stayed strong with our employees playing essential roles in helping keep supply chains together, here and around the world. It’s been a true testament to the talent, tenacity, creativity and resourcefulness of our people. I am so proud. Proud of them all.”
Collecting data from more than 2,500 submissions, Inc. singled out 389 finalists for this year’s list. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, on topics including trust, management effectiveness, perks, and confidence in the future. Inc. gathered, analyzed, and audited the data. Then we ranked all the employers using a composite score of survey results. The list will be included in the May/June 2020 issue of Inc. magazine and prominently featured on the Inc.com website.
Among all finalists on the list, Logistics Plus also had the distinction of being:
- 1 of only 45 companies recognized in the large category (250-499 employees)
- 1 of only 12 companies based in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- 1 of only 10 companies in the transportation and logistics industry
- The only company based in Erie, Pennsylvania
