Logistics Plus Chief Operations Officer (COO) Yuriy Ostapyak was a guest speaker for a recent Rotary Club of Erie meeting. The topic of the discussion was titled ‘Supply Chain Twisted.’ Yuriy talked about his background, the growth of Logistics Plus, the company’s commitment to Erie, PA, current supply chain challenges, and more.
Yuriy commented on his familiarity with the Rotary Club. “I have a great deal of respect for the Rotary Club. When I first came to the United States, I was a Rotary Club exchange student in high school. The club provides many great opportunities, and it was great to see so many familiar faces.”

Logistics Plus Global Project Manager Frederik Geirnaert was a featured panelist for a recent Transport Events webinar. The webinar topic was ‘Taranto SCCT: New Gateway to Italy and Central Europe.’ The panelists discussed the possibility of Taranto serving as a transportation hub in the south of Italy. In addition to the panelist discussion, Frederik had the opportunity to talk about Logistics Plus and review a few project cargo case studies completed by our team. FIRST Lego League (FLL) is open to all 4th – 8th graders and is a project-based, hands-on program to introduce students to engineering and coding/programming in an inclusive, creative, and hopeful environment where students work collaboratively to solve a yearly robotics challenge and inspire innovation.
