“Contrary to the overall market trend, we’ve experienced one of the busiest years… thanks to our diversified portfolio, we’ve been among the least affected by market fluctuations,” said Bahadir Erdil, Global Director – Projects for Logistics Plus, in the January/February edition of Heavy Lift and Project Forwarding International (HLPFI) magazine. As noted in the article, over the past year, Logistics Plus handled a wide range of cargoes, from hydropower equipment, heat exchangers, wind turbines, pressure vessels, crawler and mobile cranes, brewery tanks, atamarans, and oil rigs. The solar energy sector is also performing exceptionally well, with Turkish solar pane manufacturers and EPC contractors now executing large-scale projects abroad.
Baharid added, “Energy remains the most consistent sector, covering both renewable projects and conventional power generation as well as grid-related investments. Construction and wider infrastructure continue to generate steady volumes, largely linked to industrial expansion and public works.”
