Logistics Plus Turkey Earthquake Relief Fund

Turkey earthquake relief

Long-White-Spacer

A devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck southeast Turkey and northern Syria early on Monday, February 6th. The earthquake toppled over 9,000 buildings, killed more than 12,000 people, and caused over 35,000 injuries (as of 2/8/23). It was the strongest earthquake to hit the region in more than 100 years. The earthquake was followed by dozens of after-shocks, causing even more damage.

The government has announced a state of emergency in 10 provinces affected by the disaster. Subfreezing temperatures have created urgency in the efforts to find those still missing.

Turkey is home to four Logistics Plus offices in Istanbul, Izmir, Mersin, and Ankara. The company has nearly 20 employees in Turkey, all of which have been marked safe from the disaster.

To assist with relief efforts, Logistics Plus has started a fundraising campaign. Logistics Plus pledges to match all donations received. 100% of all proceeds will go to disaster relief efforts in Turkey. Additionally, Logistics Plus Turkey intends to mobilize accommodation containers (sleepers) to the affected areas with the help of these donations.

You may donate using GoFundMePayPal, debit card, or credit card. As always, we are grateful for your support of our global family.
