Logistics Plus Poland February 2024 Projects

LP Poland LogoThe Logistics Plus (LP) Poland team continues to support and manage projects across Poland and nearby countries. Here are the most recent projects handled by LP Poland in February 2024.

1) Compressor & Box

Just like the last few months, the LP Poland team handled the loading of a compressor and oversized boxes at the Baltic Hub. The boxes measured 5050 mm long, 4020 mm wide, and 3800 mm tall. The compressor weighed 18,788 kg.

2) 3D Electric Offshore Crane

The Logistics Plus Poland team delivered another 3D fully-electric offshore crane to the shipyard in Norway. The 20-meter boom was transported in heavy winter conditions, making this project a challenge.

3) Breakbulk Crate & Containers

LP Poland transported four breakbulk crates and three containers containing mechanical presses and accessories from Busan, Korea, to Łysomice, Poland.

Logistics Plus Poland Completes More Projects

LP Poland LogoThe Logistics Plus (LP) Poland team continues to support and manage projects across Poland and nearby countries. Here are the most recent projects handled by LP Poland in December 2023 and January 2024.

1) Lysine Monohydrochloride

The Logistics Plus Poland team completed the inspection and delivery of four containers worth of lysine monohydrochloride (cat and dog food) from Poland to Lviv, Ukraine.

2) 3-D Crane

The Logistics Plus Poland team transported several elements of a 3-D crane from the Czech Republic to Norway. The main boom weighed 2100 kgs, and the king upper post weighed 2200 kgs. The Poland team also transported the cursor wheel frame to make up the all-electric 32-meter ECMC gangway. In total, the transportation dimensions were 38.5 x 3.5 x 4.7 meters, and the total weight was 80 tons.

3) Electric Vehicles

The Logistics Plus Poland team managed the reloading and delivery of a container of electric vehicles from Poland to Ukraine.

4) Gearbox & Oil System

In partnership with Logistics Plus Turkey, the Poland team organized the port handling and lashing operation of a gearbox with an oil system.

5) Steel Reels

The Logistics Plus Poland team transported 14 steel reels to the Baltic Hub and the BLG Container Terminal in Bremerhaven.

LP Poland LogoThe Logistics Plus (LP) Poland team continues to support and manage projects across Poland and nearby countries. In November 2023, the LP Poland team handled projects involving compressors, sterile tanks, vehicles, and more.

  • Handled the loading, local carriage, customs, and goods inspection for compressors going to Ukraine
  • Delivered two sterile tanks (13,000 kg and 18,000 kg) to Kuwait
    -Completed route survey, removal of street obstacles, loading, and delivery
  • Handled warehouse operations for 8 containers of used cars
    -Unloading from containers, loaded onto trucks for delivery

Logistics Plus Poland Opens New Warehouse in Gdańsk

Gdansk, Poland warehouse gifThe Logistics Plus Poland team is excited to announce the addition of a new warehouse in Gdańsk. The warehouse is located 10 kilometers from the Baltic Hub Container Terminal (DCT Gdańsk) and 30 kilometers from the Gdynia Container Terminal (BCT Gdynia). Conveniently, the warehouse is also near the S6 and S7 expressways and the A1 motorway. In total, the warehouse is 4,000 sq. meters (43,000 sq. feet) and has an additional temperature-controlled section that ranges from 15-25 degrees Celsius.

Logistics Plus was proud to be a participant and sponsor this week for the UKRAINE: From War to Reconstruction panel discussion at the Chicago Build 2024 Expo. This vital discussion was hosted by the International Trade Club of Chicago and the Polish American Chamber of Commerce to further international cooperation supporting the Ukrainian people.

Logistics Plus was joined in sponsoring this important event by the Polish Investment & Trade Agency and the Ukrainian American Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This critical discussion convened government and private sector representatives to explore how international coordination, especially between the U.S., Poland, and Ukraine, can most effectively provide outcomes to Ukraine, with a focus on the important role the international construction sector will need to play in rebuilding the country.
