(America) and Rhenus Project Logistics (Germany) announced today that they have joined forces for the modernization of two lignite-fired coal power plants in Turkey. The project scope is approximately 40,000 cbm and includes 5 stators, each 200 metric-tons; 5 rotors, each 55 metric-tons; and hundreds of full truck loads, flatbeds, containers and lowbeds from all around the world shipping to Turkey.

Logistics Plus Acquires H.C. Bennett Company
As part of its new FPA Services offering, Logistics Plus will now provide
International buyers with a complete Purchase Order Management Program.
ERIE, PA (November 1, 2018) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics and supply chain solutions, is pleased to announce that, effective today, it has acquired the international freight forwarding and foreign principal agent (FPA) services of privately-held Red Lion, PA-based H.C. Bennett Company (HCB). The former HCB unit will now operate as the FPA Services department within the Logistics Plus International division and will provide international buyers with a more complete purchase order (PO) management program with the ability to manage the shipment of thousands of POs purchased on a routed transaction.
Current HCB customers can expect a stable transition to Logistics Plus with the ability to access new, expanded complimentary domestic and international services. As part of Logistics Plus, the new FPA Services department can quote highly competitive rates for any worldwide air or ocean shipment to any destination with integrated destination clearance services. Logistics Plus also provides in-house programming expertise to support the HCB cornerstone PO Wizard™ software solution. PO Wizard provides foreign principals and their suppliers the ability to view the progress of each PO line item’s movement across the supply chain.

Logistics Plus successfully completes its 2017 emissions reporting with SmartWay Transport Partnership.

NTL Expands Warehousing & Fulfillment Capabilities in Erie
With three facilities in Erie, NTL now offers over 150,000 square feet of industrial and commercial warehousing.
ERIE, PA (July 26, 2018) – NTL, an Erie, PA-based sister company to Logistics Plus Inc. and a leading local provider of transportation and warehousing solutions, has expanded its warehousing capabilities in Erie, Pennsylvania with two additional facilities. The company now maintains operations at 1710 Greengarden Blvd, 3011 West 17th Street, and 2311 W 15th Street.
“Our national truckload operations continue to be operated from 15th Street, where we’ve maintained our primary offices for the past several years,” said Joe Santone, senior vice president for Logistics Plus and NTL. “We moved into the Greengarden facility late last year to address our expanding industrial warehousing and painting business lines. Earlier this year we also acquired 60,000 square feet of additional capacity on 17th Street to service our expanding commercial warehousing and fulfillment business segment.”
Santone says the three facilities combined provide over 150,000 square feet of warehousing space to companies looking for temporary or long-term storage in the area, and to companies looking for Midwest and Northeast warehousing and fulfillment services. Special features include an industrial-sized forklift with 62,000 pounds of lift capacity, a 110-ton crane with 200,000 pounds of lift capacity, and a full-service painting bay at Greengarden; and a complete racking and shelving system with covered multi-dock unloading and loading bays at 17th Street.
