Those interviews, including one with Logistics Plus Founder & CEO Jim Berlin, have been consolidated into one definitive eBook called “CEOs Speak: Shaking Their Fists at COVID-19.” In his introduction, Mr. Katz says, “In reflecting on their stories, I asked myself whether there is one core thread that ties them all together. I believe there is. Realistic Optimism.”

Jim Berlin, Founder and CEO of Logistics Plus, was featured on Erie News Now Giving You The Business news segment this week. Erie News Now has partnered with the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership to highlight different Erie area businesses every Monday.
In this segment, Jim discusses the various solutions Logistics Plus provides our clients, the company’s way of thinking outside the box, hiring students from local universities, and more. In the interview, Jim said that, “It’s the company’s can-do spirit that has led to continued growth over the years.”

Logistics Plus has once again partnered with WPSE AM 1450/FM 107.1 Radio to bring a full slate of area high school, college, and NFL football games to radio airwaves in Erie, Pennsylvania. As a presenting sponsor, Logistics Plus will be mentioned prominently throughout each broadcast starting with tonight’s Browns game at 5:15 pm. All broadcasts can be heard locally on AM 1450 or FM 107.1; and most broadcasts (not NFL) can be streamed online at wpse.bd.psu.edu/listen-live. The sponsorship is a natural fit for Logistics Plus which has been a marquee sponsor for Best of Varsity Cup the past four years: the annual event that celebrates and honors the accomplishments of District 10 All-Area high school student-athletes and top performers.

Gretchen spoke with host Tim Dooner about how the new Logistics Plus Medical division, dba LP Med™, is leveraging its global connections, logistics expertise, warehousing capacity, and transportation knowledge to do some good and creative things on the personal protective equipment (PPE) front. Gretchen also discussed other optics, such as LP’s origins, recent tech trends, hiring challenges, and the reason why 50 country flags fly on top of Union Station in downtown Erie.
