The Logistics Plus project cargo team successfully received and delivered six transformers to a storage location in Stockton, California. Our team was responsible for everything past the point of the units discharging from the vessel. The transformers came from Brazil and were directly discharged from the vessel onto a goldhofer trailer before being delivered to Stockton.
Three of the transformers weighed 502,000 lbs. each, and the other three weighed 386,000 lbs. each. In the next few months, the transformers will depart via rail to a substation in California. Logistics Plus will handle the loading, rail transport, and crane lift/offloading of each unit to the pad.

The Logistics Plus Chicago team had quite the year in 2022. Over the past year, the team has managed air charters, roll-out projects, imports/exports, and new fulfillment opportunities (on top of all the traditional warehousing and freight management work they handle for key clients).
This past week, the team got together for dinner to celebrate the holidays and their success this past year. Logistics Plus Midwest Manager Christian Marz reflected on the success and growth of the Logistics Plus Chicago branch. “This celebration was well-deserved for everyone. It’s crazy to look at how far our team has come. We’ve gone from a small warehouse to two major regional facilities that play a key part in our global operations. I’m proud of our team and look forward to what the future has in store.”
The Chicago team went from having five full-time employees in 2020 to twenty-four full-time employees. That doesn’t include the large number of permanent and part-time warehouse workers who work for Logistics Plus in Chicago. Contact our team today if you are searching for a warehousing or transportation partner in the Chicago region.
Cheers to 2023!

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine began last year, and with your support, Logistics Plus helped raise over $660,000 for general Ukrainian relief efforts. Relief included the collection of humanitarian aid, clothes, food, and more.
As the war in Ukraine continues, many people and critical institutions, such as hospitals and schools, have limited or no power. So for 2023, Logistics Plus has shifted its fundraising efforts to purchase, transport, and install power generators to help Ukrainians in this time of need. 100% of donations will go toward power generators and power supplies for critical infrastructures, including schools, hospitals, and shelters — and Logistics Plus will cover all the shipping expenses.
Please visit https://lpukrainerelief.com/ to donate to the cause. Also, read this article on NBCnews.com that highlights the challenges.

Ukraine Relief Efforts
- Previous donations collected by Logistics Plus helped many people relocate from war zones and provided basic humanitarian supplies.
- An estimated 30% of Ukraine’s power stations have been destroyed.
- People are living in darkness. With winter arriving, the next three months will be long and cold. The people of Ukraine need our support.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Logistics Plus Opens New 1.1 Million Square Foot Phoenix Warehouse
The new warehouse is next to the company’s existing 543 thousand square foot Phoenix facility.
ERIE, PA (December 15, 2022) – Logistics Plus, Inc. (LP), a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions, is pleased to announce the opening of a new 1.1 million square foot warehouse in the greater Phoenix area. The new warehouse, located at the NEC Loop 303 and Bethany Home Road intersection in Glendale, Arizona, is adjacent to the 543 thousand square foot warehouse Logistics Plus opened earlier in the year.
Logistics Plus now has 18 fully managed commercial warehouses in the U.S., comprising 5 million square feet of storage space. The company also manages many additional virtual and commercial warehouses worldwide.
The new “LP PHX 2” warehouse is in a growing industrial development region northwest of Phoenix. The facility features quick freeway access, 395 trailer stalls, and 40-foot ceilings and is only a six-hour drive from the Los Angeles/Long Beach ports. Tom Kelly, Regional Director of Sales and Operations for Logistics Plus, will oversee the move-in and ongoing management of the operation, in addition to the company’s other Phoenix and four southern California warehouses.
“As other logistics companies slow down or reduce their warehousing footprints, we are doubling down to meet the current and future needs of our customers,” said Yuriy Ostapyak, COO for Logistics Plus. “We still see strong demand for our commercial warehousing solutions in key verticals, and we expect that growth to continue. Our new, second Phoenix warehouse will allow us to keep pace with that growth.”
Earlier this week, Multichannel Merchant named Logistics Plus a 2023 Top 3PL for e-commerce warehousing and fulfillment solutions. View a map of all Logistics Plus U.S. warehouses at www.logisticsplus.com/warehouse-map.
